i got my braces off today yay!!!!!

the past week i was in san francisco with my parents..that was super awesome!

and on friday i am leaving for school...classes start tuesday...eep i will die!!

i never used to like to read..even last summer i just read one book (davinci code), but in the past 2 weeks ive finished 5 books: war of the worlds, golden compass, subtle knife, amber spyglass, sirens of titan...and i will read the following by the end of summer: joy luck club, gullivers travels, catch 22, the rule of 4, ruby in the smoke, shadow in the north, tiger in the well, cats cradle, galapagos, and angels and demons....anyone proud of me? i am...ive found this new interest in reading which is really odd and unexpected for me!

on a different note...3 weeks of work left...looking forward for it to be over!! afterwards, i'll have a week off, then going to san francisco for a week (with lake tahoe in the middle of that trip), then beginning of JUNIOR year!! :'(

last night i saw the nyc ballet at spac: swan lake, after the rain, symphony in 3 mvmts..i liked the first 2 ballets a lot..ive never seen a ballet before...im going to 8 philly orchestra concerts at spac later this summer...i'll see itzhak perlman, martha argerich, van cliburn, the tchaikovsky spectacular, and a few other great concerts!! it'll be mucho fun! i also bought tickets to carnegie hall on sept 29 to see yefim bronfman play rachmaninoffs 3rd concerto..wow that will be quite amazing indeed, i might faint!!! and also tchaikovskys 5th symphony afterwards...this year will be fun, albeit tough!

i haven't updated in awhile...the end of 2nd year went well, 3.90 w00t!!! lol..this summer im researching quantum dots at SUNY Albany Nanotech, currently beginning week 7 outta 10..it's making the summer go by fast without much time for freedom..i've read war of the worlds, the golden compass (which i havent read in 4 yrs), and currently on the subtle knife..i saw star wars twice, i'd give it a 9/10, i saw batman twice (once on imax), and give that also a 9/10, i haven't seen war of the worlds yet but i want to, and this past weekend: charlie and the chocolate factory: 5/10, wedding crashers: 7/10, fantastic 4: 8/10..kevin joy, my good friend, left for india 5 weeks ago and he's coming back this weekend so i'll be happy to see him again...otherwise, nothing much is going on, but i can't believe summer is way more than halfway over, because i haven't done anything yet!! just stupid work and no free time, and definitely a lack of sleep..next year should be fun, i'll be living in broadway (534) across from anton and mari...as for my classes, eep, they'll be very difficult

soo..my lotter number is 62..which is awesome...tmw is group selection, but we're gonna end up dropping down to general..hopefully we can get river..if not, then broadway

i took quantum mechanics midterm monday but it was SO difficult..the 40%-of-exam question covered something we never learned how to do, but everyone else could do it b/c they learned it in PDE, which im not in..but PDE isn's a prerequisite for this..i failed most likely..

i just came back from ODE..on a positive note, i think i did pretty well :)

last week the stanford a cappella group came and some stayed with me..it was fun..we played poker at night..next day we shopped etc...

now it's time to sleep!!!

NYC AUTO SHOW IS GOING ON!!! EVERYONE GO! (im going saturday)

so break is almost over...

i went to dc from tues-thurs cuz my dad went for business..i went to lots of buildings downtown, mostly for the architecture...i also visited 2 CTY friends at georgetown...it was pretty fun

today i saw the ECAC hockey semifinals..cornell 3 - 0 u vermont, and harvard 2 - 1 colgate (2 OT)...tmw will be 3rd place and final games...last night i saw hitch with kevin peter and josh..it was good..then poker till 3:30 am...tonight i played poker with josh and 3 of the austins (jordan, adam, ian)...twas fun

not getting too much work done over break...i wish i had more motivation to :(
